This is a 1 day workshop to take a total (Linux) novice from zero to walking out the door with an imaging server for their school. Participants will be given a Dell GX-745 Optiplex Desktop computer as part of their registration price. We will start as a bare metal machine and turn it into a Ubuntu based Fog Server. We will also have available for use target Optiplex desktops that we'll use for pushing and pulling images. You will walk out the door with a Certified CDI refurbished Dell Optiplex GX-745 loaded with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Operating system and the Fog application, confident to start imaging your own computer labs at your school.
